I’m not a Pastor, teacher or anyone such as they, I sing in the choir. One day as I was up working around the house, all of a sudden it was as if the floodgates of heaven were opened and the word of God was flowing into me as if it was a system download, like data transfer. This was going on for hours, and I remember at one point, I walked into my bedroom and there was a pipe line extended from the closet and elbowing into my abdomen or stomach area, and I saw faces of men flowing through this pipe line into me. I didn’t ask the Lord what it meant, but a few weeks later he revealed to me, it represented the wisdom of God given to men. While this was going on, I felt so pumped up I recall saying to my brother, 'now I know what David meant when he said, 'he could run through a troop and leap over a wall'. Well as I said this went on for hours until I said unto the Lord, 'stop Lord, how am I going to remember all of this?' Well he stopped, but he started something else, as he has for all of us, enrolled me into the University of the Holy Spirit. Tuition has been paid in full with the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and class is always in session, we just have to start attending. Our text book is the Bible, the Word of God. Our teacher or instructor is of course the Holy Spirit. This is how this book came about, the Lord instructed me to write it. I was hesitant about it and sort of ignored it until one day he spoke to me about it again and said, 'I’m giving you an opportunity', of which I translated as 'get up and do what I told you'. Well I can say it has been a wonderful adventure and has caused me to grow in my relationship with them, God our Father, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Wonderful Holy Spirit. It is truly amazing.

There is a dark side to light, you know.  Evil wears many disguises.  It always camouflages itself as other than it is; and, good men are deceived.  The very nature of deception is that the deceived do not know that they are deceived.  There is a dark side to light, you know.  In the midst of the darkness – the children of light!  The backdrop – spiritual warfare. This Christia...

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
