'The Journey,' set forth in poetic fashion, is designed for those who can understand the hardships that come along with the Christian walk and it applies to those who are learning to completely consecrate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Having concluded over many years the great value and blessings of faith with heartache, the author has written this book to parallel those whose hearts have been called on by the Lord to experience God’s boot camp of spiritual transformation. It’s important for us to know the way of the Lord; and that way is non-other than the ongoing development of the inner-man, that we might, through the toil of afflictions, reflect the true features of his personhood.Born in 1970 in Fall River, Massachusetts, William Scott determines for all to be encouraged while stepping up to face the most horrible circumstances that life may bring. He resides in New Britain, Connecticut, with his wife. All emails are welcomed: williamlscott@hotmail.com

The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
