The Instance of Physical SeparationByM. A. ZagataFor those working in the CCDC and related fields of psychology, The Instance of Physical Separation looks at unresolved abandonment from a different prospective. It offers a unique exploration and understanding of the relationship of the mental processes concerning an often overlooked correlation between %u2018the separation%u2019, their developed attitudes, and their consequent mental development. This publication further defines why many are susceptible to a plethora of addictive costs or to the more obscure mental disorders developed. It explores how these consequences are created by those who were either adopted or raised in the deteriorating single-parent family structure, and it then theorizes the reasons why. The author considers the mechanics of such psychological impacts on those who have been subject to the physical separation as well as the adoptive process, which bring forth a wellspring of questions as to the %u2018how and why%u2019 of the knowledge that they never knew or were told of their biological or surrogate situation. Hence, through later realization of the covert nature of their family structure as they progressed through all the hallmarks of childhood and beyond, (many of which may have became reclusive or indifferent to society), and there are those who may even feel abandoned; hence, a subsequent addictive nature becomes a means of emotional escape.I have explored these many issues as theories. How these processes may germinate among such individuals largely develops in part to my own personal upbringing and my hands on counseling and investigative experiences. Therefore I believe I may have discovered yet another hypothesis, which may be the harbinger of further serious and academic study in a new and uncharted territory, which will greatly enhance and aid other professionals in the mental health, social services, and child care related fields. This book further explores the roles of associated fields such as teachers, administrative and social services, as well as courts and counseling fields and the added pressures their actions and inaction may inadvertently create. Unfortunately, though unsuspecting, they too, cannot go blameless.
