ABOUT THE BOOK: When I was a boy, I never heard my father say the words “I love you” to me. Ever. As time went by and teen years turned into my college career, these words were never uttered. As I pondered my life and looked back, I discovered clue after clue and compiled evidence upon evidence to the contrary. The greatest expression of love is the laying down of life for the object of one’s love. My dad had done that ever since I could remember, and this story is but one of those beautiful memories I hold dearer than mere words.
