This monograph by literary scholar Zebo Yakhshieva is devoted to the analysis of the inclusion of Amir Temur as a hero in fiction works within English and Uzbek literary studies. In the monograph, the depiction of the poet as a historical figure is analyzed within European and Uzbek literature and historical documents. The artistic representations of Amir Temur in the works of English and Turkish writers are also explored. These writers, from different eras, refer to the personality of Temur, comparing the scholarship of Eastern and Western authors. The monograph is intended for historians, philologists, and undergraduates, as well as for libraries with an interest in the life and activities of Amir Temur and the Temurids’ period.
