'The History of Immigrants' and how this country was created, was written in part to recognize our country’s 250 anniversary. Initially, I was going to start with the arrival of the Pilgrims in 1620, however, my research showed that 20,000 years ago during the last ice age, Asians migrated via a small area of land that connected to the northern part of the country, and they became known as Indians. I wrote about Elis Island in New York and the early immigrant migration. As a matter of curiosity, I checked Canada’s history of migration and discovered that although some Canadians did register at Ellis Island and went to Canada, via New York, their migration story is different and very interesting. I do not want to spoil this interesting story, so I hope that you get a chance to read it.
