In the course of her twenty-five year teaching career, author Diana Townsend grew to recognize that a high school education doesn’t include directions for coping with the many aches and pains inherent in the intense personal and social environment of high school. She began to share her own insights and life lessons with her classes. The positive response of her students resulted in the compilation of her stories into this handbook.
