Marquise Gertain is a face among many that a soul can adopt. A secret gathering at midnight revealing the presence of a prisoner paints a very different picture of the reality that Marquise believed herself to be living in. Determined to fulfill the only purpose she has been given, she unravels one mystery. But who is stoking the fire inside the abandoned building of her Home?
