The Green Living Guide is a practical guidebook full of useful tips which show us how to live in a way that doesn’t destroy the environment. Living in harmony with nature brings many benefits to us as well, benefits to our health and even to our bank balance. Nature is not something apart from ourselves, we are nature. The information in this book can give you the skills to not only survive in these changing times, but to thrive. With these tips you can have quality of life without it costing the Earth. The practical wisdom in this book can help you to relate to the natural environment in a way which doesn’t enforce your separation from it, but to recognise your place as a strand in it. What we do to any strand of the ecosystem, we do to the whole and thus to ourselves.   Now more than ever it is important to relearn the skills to live with nature. Society has lost its way in the struggle to support families. It has become a struggle to make as much money as possible. That way of being hasn’t been healthy to us or the environment. It’s more beneficial to instead build sustainable communities, skill share and tool share groups, community gardens, repair cafes etc.    Edward Durand has put many of these tips into practice. He has organised Permablitz workparties loosely based on Permaculture since 2021. His facebook group Ecologically Sustainable Living has nearly a thousand members. 6
