“… My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:9)God’s plan for Lynette’s life has been full of humor, unbelievable circumstances, heartache, triumph, and amazing provision by God. His hand on Lynette’s life is evident from the very beginning, as He placed her, as a tiny adopted baby, into a Christian home. When she was a young adult, He led her into full-time ministry with The Calvary Singers, and He walked closely by her side during many, many physical challenges. Through it all, He has been her Savior, her Rock, her Comforter, and her greatest Friend. The Girl with the Zebra Leg, recounts just a few of Lynette’s crazy adventures. You’ll laugh and cry, but most of all, you’ll be encouraged by Lynette’s resiliency and very personal walk with God. Lynette’s life story testifies to God’s glory and grace, and displays God’s abiding love for Lynette—and for you too. Lynette’s prayer is that her story and Savior might be an antidote to your fear, your depression, and your hopelessness. But most of all, she hopes that if you don’t know the Savior, you will consider putting your trust in Him, the Lover of your soul.“Perfect love casts out fear….” 1 John 4:18ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Lynette Johnson was adopted and placed by God into a strong Christian family—where she came to know the Lord. After a somewhat rebellious childhood and a life-threatening illness, she surrendered to full-time ministry. Lynette spent nearly twenty years traveling, singing, and entertaining with The Calvary Singers—sharing the gospel across the US and into Mexico. She earned a bachelor’s in religious education and a master’s in theology from Lake Charles Bible College. Lynette continues to lift high the name of the Lord as she shares her story wherever He leads. Lynette resides in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with her service dog, Deja, and her chihuahua, Jazmine.ABOUT THE CO-AUTHOR: Molly Ellis was called into ministry at the age of thirteen. She married and served with Norman Ellis, as he pastored a local church for seven years, served as an active duty chaplain in the United States Air Force for eighteen years, and pastored an English-speaking church near Paris, France, for four years. When Molly isn’t traveling and singing with Lynette, she stays very busy traveling to see her three children and nine grandchildren.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...

Biblical history speaks of a time in our world when there was utter chaos. In the midst of it the Bible reveals a man called Noah, whose character was impeccable in his time. Evil men angered God. But the faith of Noah pleased God and was responsible for the saving of his family. He offered a sacrifice to show his love and respect for God,and it was noted as a sweet aroma. This...
