Hello, my name is Pam Breedlove Lear and I wrote the book, THE GIFTED. I got the idea for this book from a dream I had one night. I saw a very hairy boy like creature squatted down in the middle of the road as I was driving home from work from the hospital. I was afraid I would run into him with my car and I stopped my car right in front of him. My headlights were shining on him and I saw he was spinning something in the road with his finger. As I looked closer, I saw he was spinning a white skull around on the road. He turned and looked at me, then picked up the skull, put it under his arm and ran away on a country side road into the trees. The dream did not scare me, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I told my husband Noah about my dream and told him I felt I was intended to write something, but didn’t know what. I made 2 attempts but was unsuccessful. Still I kept thinking about it. Finally I prayed and told God if he wished me to write a book for him to please inspire me. This time I began to write with success and every day before I wrote I, prayed that same prayer and thus, this book was born. I am still writing, and have a second book already as a sequel to my first on the way. If you are interested in reading my book, go to Amizon.com or Barnes and Noble to request your copy. God Bless you, and thanks for listening. A True Test of Faith... On a cold, crisp morning in February of 1750, newlyweds Noah and Pam Lear say good-bye to their families in a small village in England and board The Angel’s Horn, bound for America. Over the next two months of their voyage, they befriend other couples, forging lifelong bonds, and dream of their new lives in Virginia. What follows is the tale of eight families of early Christian settlers as they struggle to survive in their new home with nothing but God, Love, and their Faith to sustain them. The Gifted is an uplifting family saga set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This book is a witness that God can use anyone in any position to be a help to another person. The person you are counting out could very well be the one chosen to help get you to yo...

There is a dark side to light, you know.  Evil wears many disguises.  It always camouflages itself as other than it is; and, good men are deceived.  The very nature of deception is that the deceived do not know that they are deceived.  There is a dark side to light, you know.  In the midst of the darkness – the children of light!  The backdrop – spiritual warfare. This Christia...

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
