From an early age being needed to work on the farm, fitting in schooling and leaving home to work in the then PMG.Seeing hardship as an opportunity he pushed through adversity to become a 'legend' in his works and sports arenas. His father Harry passed on his story telling skills and dry wit for Neville to hold his audiences and others in good stead.The Warts and All story will be cherished by his family for it is not often that we are prepared to reveal in detail the trials, the choices we made and some of the missed opportunities that may have come our way.What shapes us is not our own choice. Our parents, the environment and many facets of our country dictate our lives. In all the ups and downs facing Neville throughout his life, he has not only survived but is an example that giving and mentoring has its own rewards.
