Over the last two years I have learnt so much about the Universal laws, network marketing, and how to be kind to myself, while also realizing that we only get one go at the bite of the apple called ’life.’ During the putting together of this book I became life threateningly ill. My dislike of Christmas went and now I am doing everything I can to make sure that next Christmas I celebrate it as well as making sure I never spend another alone. When you start clutching your chest and realize that there is no one to tell if anything was to happen? Well, this is when you realize that you deserve better. I now have many tests and investigations to undergo. Yes, I am scared, but I would rather fight whatever this is earlier rather than waiting until it’s too late.If it hadn’t been for two people constantly in my inbox during my hospital stays, then what is going on in my body wouldn’t have been detected, as our glorious NHS chose to ignore everything I was saying. But these two people gave me the courage to stand my ground. I got my second opinion and they found something.This book is the run up to the book that myself and Raw Diamond have written together on homelessness, and a few of the last poems in this book got me threatened by another Poet who doesn’t like my honesty, or that of it being posted on my wall. It’s called freedom of speech and I refuse to play victim. I keep my emotional health in line by taking my vitamins every day. This also helps with my focus. My journey has had its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t change a single thing as I love who I am shaping up to be. Stay beautiful and seek out the beauty even when it’s difficult, there is always a silver lining.
