The Exodus Architect

Turns out 'off the grid' is just another way of saying 'harder to find.' Not impossible.I thought our little hidden town in Missouri was the answer. No government. No tests. No one deciding what my brain is worth based on a band around my wrist. Just a doctor willing to teach me something real, and enough quiet to almost believe we’d figured it out. Then the agents came. And the buses. My little sister was gone before I could lace up my shoes. And they’re coming back for me.Now I’m underground - literally - following symbols I half-recognize, trusting people I’m not sure I should. Everyone is looking for someone who holds the key that will get us out of this mess.I’ve never been great at making decisions. They’ve always been made for me. But now I have choices to make, but every choice has a cost attached to it. I’m not sure any of them are right. I’m not sure I am either. So I’m going to figure this out. Make the hard calls. Trust the wrong people and hope I’m right about them.Because that’s what you do when the alternative is giving up.And I’ve never been great at that either. This dystopian YA fast-paced thriller is a clean coming-of-age story set in the near future in the Missouri Ozarks with a strong female lead. It features a girl with strong sibling relationships who must navigate heartbreak, choices, and family dynamics as she goes on adventure to unravel the mystery of the rebellion that is growing against the government that has oppressed society into a caste system.
