It is said that those who are about to die often have premonitions of the end of their own mortality. They say and do things to put their house in order before Death comes for them.I guess it was for this reason that I tried to make atonements shortly before my death. I really was a bastard for most of my life, so I had a lot of atoning to do. If I did have powers of premonition back in those days, my only regret is that I did not see that the manner of my imminent demise would be at the hands of my lovely wife. I have to give her credit. The way she did it was genius. She never did get caught. That still irks me to this day. Let me tell you my story....
