The Electrifying Angel’s Flight (sequel) to The Electrifying Demise Six years have passed, and Angel Flight Gulf Stream medically equipped air transport plane fleet has added Angel Flight Four and Angel Flight Six. The people in The Dalles, Oregon, are law-abiding citizens. The stories unfold, and new residents are welcomed, each having a fascinating history. The Michael Murphy & Son Electrical Contractors business was the financier for the formation of Mike Murphy (the son) to realize his dream of becoming a MediVac service to people free of any charges. Mike and Susan have their wedding anniversary evening without fanfare. Mike is needing flight crews for additional planes, and the encounter with his first applicant for the pilot seat has a long story. He has a wife whose story is important as well. This passage covers conversation of general, getting acquainted subjects. It progresses to a short flight that involved teaching to achieve 'smoothe' touchdowns for the comfort of ill or injured patients arrival at hospitals, etc. for urgent care. The next encounter is a brawl with a thug at the local grocery store. This is exciting, and blow by blow narrative is action-packed! The new pilot’s lady and other women visit, and soon wedding plans are forming. The tale continues when an attractive lady comes into Mike’s office to apply for a pilot’s position. She is a vibrant and robust character with issues; some immediate and others such as lodging, car parking, clothes. These are minor, and the significant problems are exciting, surprising, impressive and unusual. vi Three guys from New Jersey came into the office. They were expected and looking to qualify for a job with Angel Flight. One of them is noticeably causing suspicion and distrust at first impressions. That was the correct impression for this guy. There was a call for a copilot, and an available part-time pilot from Wyoming was hired for a one-time flight. The Police of Chief in The Dalles is a Native American and has personality and fairness in his enforcement of legal statutes and sometimes affording competent counsel to wayward souls who go astray. Along the way, many shadowy characters and policemen have encounters of different degrees and behaviors. In Chicago and in Atlantic City are battles of evil guy/right guy eye-opening events. Crime does not pay. Romance, of course, is not missing from this book by any means, and there is no need to search for the scenes, although not to be alarmed by graphic explanations. Many reverent scenes occur and are heartwarming and are good examples for any ready to notice. Brotherly love and counting are blessings are only two of many. The emergency episode of a man injured by a bull is unique. He is a tough rancher and doesn’t want sedation or any pampering. The part-time pilot was also a rancher, and a business deal was agreed by the two that will be a point of information to the average person. This copilot also shows a profound talent, none of which, his family nor friends were aware of. A rickety truck parks in front of The Dalles police chief’s office and a black confident, but obviously troubled young woman explains she is need of a job and has a son and mother for whom she is responsible. This episode is, again, human interest and does turn out for the best. The plot thickens, and things begin to be apparent that dangerous criminal activity is about to be exposed, and the case can be closed. Before and after the incidents and events there are picnics, casino activity, hand to hand contact of criminal vs. police, devotional scenes, and rarely does a problematic situation go unsolved. The ending is quite violent but justified.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present.
