This play has been written to guide the public in the art of voting and choosing a right leader, which is still a very difficult task to many. The play portrays election intrigues by leaders on the ignorant public and also hints on the consequence of staying away from voting. It could be used as a piece for voters’ education in every election. The play has a village as its setting. The cast is composed of nine regular actors of which two are women. The role of four others among this could be performed by either female or male actors. There is also a set of villagers of over eight persons having an equal number of male and female representations. We also have the polling or electoral officials made up of four persons-male and females. Thus equal gender representation is assured. The play is very unique because the style meets the need of even an ordinary audience. In order to meet the needs, the play write has used a different style and form. He first of all employ the use of a story teller, who hints on the preceding incidents so that even an illiterate audience can properly understand the plot. The language of the play is quite simple, and captures the speech pattern of the common man. Through numerous songs and dancing, the play provides a lively scenario. Finally the play is made up of three acts and numerous scenes. These make the projection of the various incidents of the play easy to understand.
