As a lifelong writer, with broad experiences in the outdoors and extensive knowledge of the earth’s natural systems, his poetry is infused with an uncommon wealth of subject matter, stunning images, and heartfelt insights. From impromptu story telling around a campfire to his carefully sculpted creative writngs, the underlying intent of the author’s endeavors has been the enrichment of the human spirit. The interplay between the author’s love of nature and his involvment in improving the human condition on earth, gives this collection a distinct accessibility. Based in the transfer of knowledge about nature and understanding the essential role the natural world plays in the very essence of man’s being, his poetic language speaks eloquently of all things wild and beautiful. With the exception of a few poems lifted from the pages of his first anthology 'Out of the Earth' published in 2013, this collection of 54 poems is gathered from his work over the last ten years. It is a collection of imagery using words and photography he lifted directly from the best nature has to offer.
