The Diary Of A Lunatic is a collection of short stories and poems. The main plot is centered around a possessed tree, whose dark magic and creatures aim to conquer and eventually feed the Earth to its master on a moon far away from our solar system, if our heroes can’t stop it. There are several different genres present, including Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Action and Adventure, Romance, Comedy, and Horror. Not all stories are connected, and you will find yourself traveling to different parts of an almost familiar Earth, to the vast greatness of outer space, following stories of magic users, space warriors, demons, swordsmen, a sex robot, little creatures that ride mechanical giants and even a great battle between french fries and chicken nuggets. The Diary Of A Lunatic and its predecessor Poetry And The Like contain heavy themes of dark fantasy and horror. There is also a focus on mental health, self-help and mood/anxiety disorders like depression. Everyone has their own personal battle or struggle, and we will watch these characters either fall apart or come out stronger than ever before. This is a book about challenges, diversity, variety and emotion, and it will be a rollercoaster from start to finish. My name is William Malave, and I pride myself on writing diverse, original and entertaining content. Being an author is a career choice, but being a storyteller is a passion, one that I hold close to my heart and explore thoroughly. Every book I write has a purpose, and this book’s purpose is to showcase a multitude of diverse stories with even more diverse characters and conflicts, and to give you enough entertainment to have you coming back to read it again. Thank you for checking out my work, and look forward to seeing many more enthralling stories to come.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....

In his interpretation of Antigone, Seamus Heaney says, ‘Nobody can be sure they are always right.’ Maureen O’Shaughnessy’s The Truth about A further attends to this idea through various readings of the myth as portrayed by Sophocles, Brecht, Ted Hughes, Anne Carson and, most particularly, Euripides.
