Ten-year-old Michael Fogg has no imagination, and when he sees a tiny being standing on the landing outside Flat 4, he needs to pinch himself. Doctor Fluff claims that he is from a land called Stutopia, where anything stupid is possible and when he offers to cure Michael’s persistent hiccups he reluctantly agrees. One after another, wee folk and pygmy animals appear, each as weird as the last, all of them intent on curing Michael’s hiccups with increasingly bizarre ideas.Michael’s parents are baffled by his stories and think he must be teasing them. Finally Michael realises that the only way to convince them is for them to see the creatures for themselves...
