The thrilling experiences that follow could happen only in Oz. How the brave self-sacrifice of the Cowardly Lion saved his friends -- who had set out to rescue him -- makes the most Ozey part of the story. Of course Dorothy and the Scarecrow, the Patch Work girl, the Tin Woodman and all the other dear, familiar Oz folks figure delightfully in this newest Oz book.
