This book contains William Lyon Phelps’s philosophical essay on courage and ignorance. It explores the meaning and interpretation of the courage and of ignorance and how the two so often go hand in hand. Full to the brim with wisdom, not just from Phelps himself, but with the aid of quotes and extracts from an array of well know authors such as J. M. Barrie, Robert Browning, Emily Brontë and Padraic Colum. This would be a wonderful addition to the bookshelf of the brave, and the cowardice. Originally published in 1933 we are now republishing this classic work with a new introductory biography of the author.
