Bud began his writing career as a freelance writer for Advance Magazine located in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. He continued writing articles monthly for five years, publishing articles related to radiology administration (published 150 monthly articles and eventually was recruited by Sinclair Community, where he taught for 22 years before retiring. During his tenure at Sinclair, Bud was contacted by McGraw Hill in Chicago to provide content for various textbook topics such as medical imaging and medical terminology. Since retiring from the navy in 1975, Bud has written and published 20 non-fiction books.
