For more than thirty-five years, philosopher Cyril Read has wrestled with the oldest and deepest question in Western thought: How can the One and the Many coexist without one destroying the other? In Tridynamic Metaphysics he offers a daring and original answer. Being is not static or abstract. It is a living Procession - an eternal torrent of esse that flows from the Totality (the All) into every finite thing, and most intimately into the human soul. What the mind has long sought in theory, the heart now discovers in personal encounter.Read shows that absolute difference is impossible. A universal Oneness must preexist every individual as the necessary condition for its existence. From this insight he unfolds a dynamic metaphysics in which being and movement are one, interiorization and exteriorization are simultaneous, and the classical problems of limitation, infinity, negation, and self-reference find their resolution. At the heart of the work is the recognition that metaphysics is not merely an academic exercise. It becomes a bridge from the mystery of existence to a living union with the ground of all being - the very encounter John 17:21-23 invites us to share.Written with clarity, rigor, and quiet passion, The Classic Problem of the One and the Many - and of the All - RESOLVED! is both a major contribution to philosophy and a contemplative invitation. It speaks to anyone who has ever sensed that the deepest truths about reality are also the deepest truths about the human heart.Whether you are a student of metaphysics, a seeker after the unity of all things, or simply someone who wonders why anything exists at all, this book offers a fresh and profoundly hopeful vision. From the mystery of existence towards a personal encounter.
