After attending a pre-christmasy church evening, I came away feeling numb as to what had been presented as the Christmas Story in various forms.Because of this event, I was led to write The Christmas Retold, and also Hidden Lessons in The Christmas Story, instead of what has been twisted and turned into something that almost now does not have the essence of what the birth of Jesus was all about.The Christmas Story Retold is in two parts. The first part is an allegory of the Christmas Story. The second part, Hidden Lessons in The Christmas Story is an in-depth study into the real facts of the complete event. As you read, my prayer is that the Holy Spirit will not only impart wisdom, but the gift of understanding will be yours.
