With an army of helpful bots, Steven has the ability to mine raw materials for several offworld concerns. His actions lead the young miner to confront his own government, solidify a friendship with an Air Force Captain, and become the single planetary representative for the earth humans. Steven will confront alien races unable to ask or negotiate for their wants without the need for domination or conquest. Steven will grow, and pull his friends into a future with much larger possibilities than he ever could have imagined.
