The Celestial Whisperer

Elias thought defeating Vaelgrim would end the nightmare. He was wrong. When the dark sorcerer returns from death - reborn stronger, his skin etched with malevolent runes and his eyes burning crimson - the fragile victory crumbles to ash. The Aetherion, the cosmic force bound to Elias, is once again in Vaelgrim’s sights. And this time, the dark lord has merged with powers that no one fully understands. With war tearing apart the kingdoms of Ethrydol and Postria, and Vaelgrim’s shadow stretching across the land, Elias and his companions must navigate the treacherous Carvarian Mountain Range alone. Kelzirans, ravagers, and the soldiers of an ambitious lord who wants the Aetherion for himself shadow every step eastward toward Omnithal. As Elias and his companions traverse the Carvarian Mountains, death finds them in a gruesome way. While his friend, Gannon, fights his own desperate battle for survival. Then she appears. Crystaline, the last surviving Celestial Whisperer, hunted by Vaelgrim for celestial epochs, steps from the shadows to guide Elias toward the power he carries but has yet to master. She doesn’t see the future; she reads the patterns written in starlight and time, and what she reads troubles even her ancient wisdom. Vaelgrim is no longer merely hunting the Aetherion. He is preparing to forge an army of crystal warriors, bind the power of a coming Red Eclipse, and claim dominion over all of Noctharis and beyond. As Elias continues to learn of the Aetherion’s power, the Celestial Whisperer loses the voices that helped guide her. Rulers worldwide scramble to prepare defenses against an enemy no army was built to face. Vaelgrim, created an indestructible army, now astride a flying skeletal dragon of his own creation, is no longer content to send servants. He is coming himself. When Vaelgrim captures Gannon, he forces Elias to surrender and hand over the Aetherion, or he will kill his childhood friend. The choice becomes brutally clear: negotiate with darkness and their world dies, or trust a power he still doesn’t fully understand and save his friend. The Celestial Whisperer is the second installment in The Legend of the Aetherion - an epic of reluctant heroism, unbreakable loyalty, and a darkness that refuses to stay dead.
