In shocked disbelief Mae takes her in, but Katherine insists on hiding. The strangest large hound dogs roam outside and they belong to the parents of Katherine, Ron and Lily; who come asking if she has been around but Mae tells them sadly no.Katherine remains hidden and says little while Mae works on the project. Over the next day and more her colleagues disappear. With the dogs and parents returning Katherine disappears as bodies are found. The boyfriend of Mae, Jackson keeps her safe and secure in her confusion and fear. Is Katherine a killer? Do her parents know this? Mae meets with Jen and Issy, all three had been close with Katherine before she mysteriously left town three years previously, presumed dead.
