Little Ben loves spending time in his bedroom during the day when the sun lights up his room. When nighttime comes, however, shadows creep into the corners of his room and scare Ben so much that he is afraid to go to sleep. The only thing that seems to help is sleeping in his parent’s room, until one day his mother comes up with a 'bright' idea that helps Ben find comfort in his own bedroom at night.
