Jordan’s World continues as Jordan faces some challenges with his apraxia journey. Things take an interesting turn. He goes to speech therapy during the summer, which is typically no fun, but he found his summer speech therapist might not be so bad after all. He enters his third-grade year and is excited to learn how to read. His apraxia has made this difficult. Although others may have mixed reactions to him reading aloud from a book, he has never felt more seen. Jordan finally feels a self-confidence he has never known. It is an unfamiliar feeling, balancing the emotions of anxiety and excitement. Jordan finds his future is limitless as he perseveres through difficult times and handles them with grace. Jordan hopes this book will remind you to speak even when your voice shakes because there is nothing wrong with speaking differently.
