The lord wants to bless us so we can be a blessing to others and not walk away from hungry and hurting people.In the parable of the Good Samaritan, the gospel of Luke 10:25-37, the lawyer asked Jesus how to obtain eternal life. Jesus asked him what the law said. And he said, to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said that was correct. Then the lawyer asked who is my neighbor? Jesus replied and told him a parable about a man who was robbed and beat up and left for dead on the side of the road. A Priest and a Levite passed by and did not pay any attention to him. Then the Good Samaritan passed by and helped him by cleaning him up and bringing him to a hotel to stay until he was well and gave the inn keeper money in advance for anything that the man needed, and if there was any more money owing he would pay the inn keeper when he returned.Would you be willing, and in the position to help the wounded man on the side of the road or would you just walk on by?
