This true, sensually graphic love story took place in 1959 in an AppleOrchard located in a town known as Glen Cove on Long Island,New York. A beautiful, white, Italian, young lady by the name of Nichifell in love with an African American high school basketball star by thename of Cap. Her sexual obsession with him was so overwhelming, shewalked three miles from her home to where he lived in the Orchardon Easter Sunday and unconditionally gave herself to him. Both werevirgins, so the sex was so explosive they did not notice Cap’s best friendwatching. After they were finished and dressed, Cap went for just a fewminutes to the edge of the Orchard to check for a clear passage for her toleave. Within that short period of time, best friend Larry physically beatand violently raped her. The girl’s parents called the police, and Cap wasarrested and charged with violently raping this young lady. Cap took theblame completely by not implicating his friend. They threw him in jailfor not only the violent rape but also for the fact the girl was only a youngteenage High School student. Even though Cap suffered emotionally, heand this girl could not stop seeing each other and having sex repeatedlyright up to the trial date. During those days, the town’s white folks andthe police did not like black people. The town wanted to string Cap upby his neck and castrate him. Glen Cove became a racial, ticking timebomb.
