Andrew Kallman is co-author of the #1 best-selling book in four sub-categories on Amazon.com (Decision-making, Business, Consulting and Project Management) during five of the first fifteen months after the initial release of 'The Nehemiah Effect: Ancient Wisdom from the World’s First Agile Projects.' He works as a management consultant, trainer, coach and mentor helping individuals, teams and organizations transform their cultures using the Unified Vision Framework as outlined in 'Nehemiah Effect.' His commitment to a higher purpose and Vision is also evident outside of his work. For example, he taught the teenage Sunday school class from 2002 to 2010 at a Baptist Church in Jakobstad, Finland, including topics like Listening Prayer (the main theme of this study guide).  Another example, as an assistant coach for a secondary school-youth basketball team in Jakobstad, Finland, Andrew introduced the sport to them and taught them the value of a using common language. He mentored the team to clarify, agree and build on their mutual goals together and then create the game plan using the team’s common vision. By teaching them the principles of the Unified Vision Framework, the team reached the semifinals at the national level in Finland during four of the eight years during the time Andrew was their coach and mentor. Andrew earned his BBA from Cornerstone University (formerly Grand Rapids Baptist College) and an MBA from Grand Valley State University; both schools are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. Andrew is also active on social media like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with connections to almost two thousand friends, family, co-workers and followers. He is married (for 30+ years) and has three grown sons, two daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren. His journey of faith with Jesus spans almost five decades and has taken him to over 400 cities in 25 countries.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
