Mr. and Mrs Kelechi suffered reproach of abject poverty and prolonged childlessness in marriage. At old age, contrary to nature and against the anticipation of the globe, they bring into the world their ambassadors - a set of twins: Amechi, a boy and Ogechi, a girl. Ogechi as expected is given in marriage to a hunter at a very tender age as female children are believed to be of little or no importance.
