The Bandbox is a novel written by Louis Joseph Vance and published in 1912. Johnnie quickly becomes embroiled in the world of high society and begins to uncover secrets that could ruin some of the city’s most prominent figures. Along the way, he falls in love with a beautiful young woman named Cynthia Meyrick and must navigate the complicated social dynamics of the city in order to win her heart.
