The Balanced Leader is an autobiographical account of my leadership journey. From humble beginnings to my emergence as a leader and eventual COO, I highlight the experiences that helped define me. I share compelling stories and lessons throughout this journey. I consider myself a regular Joe who was able to find success as a leader. I may not have always been the smartest in the room, but I was smart enough to know that I needed talented people around me who were motivated and encouraged along the way. I stressed balance and enabled my leaders the freedom to maintain theirs 100 percent of the time.In this book, I’ll share stories about the people who helped guide and mentor me along the way. I will highlight the significant contributions and important lessons gleaned from every one of them. I’ll never forget those who took the time to work with me and help me. I did my best to pay that forward anytime I could.Perhaps most importantly, I share leadership lessons and tips suitable for leaders in any profession or field. These range from practical to strategic things I practiced meticulously for years.Finally, I hope you will enjoy the songs I sprinkled throughout the book.
