Prosper Bangladesh undoubtedly requires continuous socioeconomic development and such type of development is a never ending process. Bangladesh has a visionary government which has a vision of making the country a developed one by 2041. To make the government vision a success, the country desperately needs development in every sector of the economy. As a student of Economics and gained real life experience working with the education sector for about 25 years, I am sharing my thoughts regarding the development of Bangladesh. Utilizing my meager knowledge and experience, I tried my level best to identify challenges regarding sustainable development of Bangladesh as well as identify the backbone of the country’s development. I am confident that these may help other South Asian and African countries for their development.
