The Altar of Redemption

The Altar of Redemption is a call to prayer and intercession for the lost based on biblical principles of faith and truth that give us warrior confidence and keys to unlocking hindrances that keep bound those who are spiritually blind. It is based on the revealing light of what God has already accomplished for them by sending his Son Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb that takes away the sin of the world.Have you ever been frustrated, confused, or felt a lack of knowledge about evangelizing, or the lack of empowerment people seem to have in praying, interceding, and engaging in the war for the lost?The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the good news. Being an ordained minister for almost ten years and working in the prison and jail ministry for many years, I have seen many mistakes that have had crippling results in our lack of discipline in evangelism and in a true knowledge of compassionate prayer for the lost.Jesus said in John 10:10 that the reason the devil came is to steal, kill, and destroy. Hosea 4:6 says, 'My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.'In this book, I give scriptural reasons for not only prayer but also how to apply prayer with confidence. I strongly encourage God’s people to be compassionate and caring about people who may not be able to understand the truth of the gospel, and how praying for them is one of the most loving things we can do, as well as being a genuine witness to them.I have included personal testimonies from others to give some examples and to encourage and enlighten our hearts about the consequences of biblical error and ignorance, apathy, and lack of concern for others still bound by sin.My heart is to equip, empower, and encourage every person with the word of God and through understanding what Christ attained, and remind us of what is at stake, that our hearts would be moved to rekindle cold altars once again with the fire of compassion and revival for the lost!
