Thunder survives a wild goose attack and she learns to herd and protect the many farm animals. Thunder and her mother, another border collie explore wild forest and pond areas, meeting wild bees, wild ducks, beavers, and other animals. This book is appropriate for children of all ages. The Author, Ellen O'Shea is an accomplished author of children's books and has received awards for her illustrations and her book "Piper and the Red Boat".
