The book is about three young friends who have created a club called the Three Amigos. Terry finds a strange light coming from under his grandmother’s bedroom door. Terry invites his friends upstairs to help him investigate this phenomenon. All three go into Grandma’s room without permission, look under the bed, and pull her glowing bible from under the bed. As the bible starts shaking, Terry pulls the bedspread off the bed, and the three are hidden under it. Terry decides to open the bible with the edging of his friends, and they are swept into the story, their first adventure, of Abraham and Sarah.Denny Echols’s journey is rooted in the heart of Detroit, Michigan, where he was born and raised by two devoted Christian parents. Under the guidance of his Pastor father and Evangelistic mother, Denny and his four brothers were instilled with the values of love and service to God from a young age. In this nurturing environment, Denny cultivated a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Driven by his faith and a calling to ministry, Denny founded and pastor the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in Capital Heights, Maryland. Alongside his wife, Denny’s leadership and dedication drew numerous souls to Christ, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Following a rewarding career in ministry, Denny has retired and now resides in the serene state of Florida with his beloved wife, Darlene. Together, they savor the joys of family life, with two successful adult children and three cherished grandchildren. It is this rich tapestry of personal experiences that has inspired the characters of Terry, Tamar, and Tommie. in his book, adding a personal touch to his storytelling.
