They can create layers of liquids when they are put on top of each other. Liquids with different densities, is an interesting and fun experiment for people of all ages.The experiment can be implemented with different liquids, such as, milk, water, oil, honey or molasses. Use clear cups, or tubes for observation First, try to see how water mixes with milk. Then, slowly add the other liquids you found at home, last observe how liquids move to take their places according to their densities.I have a BS degree in physics. After I had my three children, I wanted to learn more about young children and got my associate degree in Early Childhood Development. Currently I am working on my Fine Art Degree at a local college.
