No other subject in Christianity seems to capture the imagination more than prayer. It is discussed, written about, preached about and largely misunderstood. Many see it as labor and toil. He achieved academic excellence throughout his Junior High School years and has interests in poetry, singing and drawing. In the year 1992, Derrick married his Junior High School love and long time friend, Donna Libert of Brooklyn, NY. Their daughter, Champaigne, was born to them September of the same year.
