Growing up in rural Louisiana, LaScott Ellis noticed many things. As he was fighting to free himself of the typical young Black American mind set he took notice to what was really going on around him and began to write it down. He shows through his words what became important to him and what he continues to fight for. After looking back over his life unto the point of 21 he finds himself saying two words. Thank You. With his Southern tone and skillful use of words he grabs you and shows you what it means to be a Louisiana Son.
