Este estudo, realizado na organização pública de investigação espanhola CEDER-CIEMAT em 2015, compara o método computacional dos elementos finitos com o método experimental, a fim de avaliar a precisão do primeiro. As simulações e experiências foram realizadas numa pá de turbina eólica de pequena escala, a Ceder 1500, com o objetivo de determinar as suas frequências próprias, deformações e deflexões sob diferentes condições de carga. Graças a essa comparação entre os dois métodos e a um método de engenharia reversa, as propriedades mecânicas da pá Ceder 1500 foram determinadas e são apresentadas neste artigo. Para concluir, é apresentada uma análise dos resultados e uma pesquisa de melhoria para o modelo.
