Are you keeping the Ten Commandments? Most of us think we are. But are we really? The Ten Commandments are not old and outdated.  They are still very relevent for today.  The Creator who gave them to us knows us well, inside and out.  He knows what will help us live the best possible life on this earth.  How different would our society be if we all followed the big TEN? Using a gentle, non-judgmental, encouraging approach, this private journal takes the commandments piece by piece and applies them to our personal lives, helping us examine our thoughts and actions and words to see how we line up. We are encouraged to date our entries and come back later to record how we are progressing.  For some of the items, there are extra pages for keeping track of how we are doing. So, dig deep, be honest with yourself, and see if you can actually follow the original TEN COMMANDMENTS.  It will help clear away any hinderances in your relationship with the LORD. It will increase your sense of awe of Him and His ways. One section will deepen your understanding of how much He loves you.  The book begins our self examination by studying and applying this verse phrase by phrase:And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy  strength: this is the first commandment. Mark 12:30The second section begins with this verse:And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.Mark 12:31

There is a dark side to light, you know.  Evil wears many disguises.  It always camouflages itself as other than it is; and, good men are deceived.  The very nature of deception is that the deceived do not know that they are deceived.  There is a dark side to light, you know.  In the midst of the darkness – the children of light!  The backdrop – spiritual warfare. This Christia...

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
