In der Studie werden Forschungsfragen gestellt, die darauf abzielen, die Faktoren zu ermitteln, die eine geringe Beteiligung der Studierenden an diesen Aktivitäten beeinflussen könnten, wie diese Faktoren durch Umfragen erkannt werden können und welche Strategien zur Erhöhung der Beteiligung der Studierenden umgesetzt werden könnten. Es handelt sich um einen gemischten Forschungsansatz, bei dem sowohl quantitative als auch qualitative Methoden eingesetzt werden, um das Ausmaß der studentischen Beteiligung zu analysieren und die Hindernisse und Motivationen zu untersuchen, die diese beeinflussen. Dieser Ansatz ermöglicht ein umfassendes Verständnis des Phänomens, da er die Analyse objektiver Daten mit der Erforschung der persönlichen Erfahrungen der Studierenden verbindet.
