La superficialidad es el cáncer de la modernidad. La mayoría viven anhelando placeres instantáneos. Unos pocos buscan el sentido de la existencia. «¿Por y para qué existo?», me pregunté un día y, fruto del inconformismo de lo banal, escribí este libro, que es radical, nuclear y lo abarca todo. Tan solo guarda un gran fundamento: concebirse a uno mismo como el núcleo de todo lo que hay y todo lo que existe; mas de una forma especial; esto es, como expresión de Amor. Así, las siguientes páginas buscan defender una tesis: que el Amor es el radical existencial y antropológico; es decir, el núcleo de la existencia y motor de la vida misma, así como aquello a lo que está naturalmente orientado el ser humano. El tema es, por tanto, sencillo: el Amor; pero nos aproximamos a él de manera novedosa. La obra está dividida en dos partes: una primera de tono poético, compuesta por un conjunto de frases ilustradas, y una segunda de naturaleza académica, en la que se explica el tema de manera detallada. La lectura de ambas te permitirá acceder al mismo contenido; pero de modo distinto y, por ello, se complementan de tal manera que puedes entender la idea desde diferentes prismas, todos ellos necesarios.
