Tap Dancing Toward Bliss is a third collection of poems and reflections following Beach Grass and Light and Shadow. Nature and observations about people and human nature are frequent subjects of her writing. Poems included in this collection are about mangroves, egrets, doorways in France, rain, deer nibbling grass and apples, sailing, old and new friends, the breaking of day, and journeys. Some of the poems have the quality of a meditation, others of a story, inviting the reader in as onlooker, participant.
