Rafael Castro Martín, - Swami Jivan Shiven - Nacido en Zaragoza en septiembre del 68, tuvo desde su niñez grandes inquietudes de tipo humanista y docente por lo que cursó estudios en la Escuela Universitaria de ciencias de la educación por la especialidad, -hoy desaparecida- de humanidades. No conforme con dicha carrera académica cursó estudios de filosofía pura y teología así como diferentes prácticas humanistas y espirituales tales como el tai chi chuan del que es practicante, yoga, reiki -de la que hoy es Maestro de diversas escuelas entre otras cuestiones -, así como practicante de budismo Zen. La inquietud humanista le llega también a las líneas de las bellas artes, en concreto de la música de la que cursó estudios de instrumentos de cuerda -violín, violonchelo y guitarra clásica de la que es profesor y compositor- como de viento madera - oboe y flauta. Actualmente imparte clases de música clásica, así como diferentes cursos sobre meditación, reiki y taichi entre otras técnicas de 'crecimiento personal'.
