The book follows Brian’s career throughout his postings both in the UK, and overseas. Despite being someone who joined, not knowing too much about the trade he signed up for, he somehow fooled several people into promoting him a few times and eventually found himself attached to the elite RAF Special Forces Flight, serving with them during the Gulf War. It is an honest memoir, reflecting upon both the highs, and the lows, of serving in the RAF during the 1980s and early 1990s. The book is both funny and poignant, and leads the reader through this amusing, realistic, adventure called life.
